Hi! I'm Lizeth Lanz👋 a food relationship coach, on a mission to make Healthy-Food, Easy-Good.

People often ask me how I eat this way without getting bored,

feeling deprived, or giving into temptation.

To answer that, I have to tell you a secret... I used to eat out all the time.

When I lived in California, my husband and I would often go to restaurants.

We had our spots, our regular orders,

and we were happy!😊

But when we moved to a tiny Northwoods town, my world crumbled.

The restaurants choices were greasy bar food and american diners.

I've always been a food fan, but health is also important, and I wanted both, without sacrificing pleasure.

I remember literally crying 😭 to my husband because I missed Mexican seafood so much.

I felt stuck. I thought being healthy in this small town was going to be impossible.

My husband looked at me and asked, “Why don’t you just make it yourself?”

My first thought? "I can't. I don't have fresh seafood here, and I'm not some master chef!"

But when he said, “I don’t think the restaurants in California were using freshly caught fish either,”

...a lightbulb went off. 💡 I realized that the restaurants weren't using anything special, they were just using a few simple ingredients and putting them together in different ways.

I didn't need to be a "good cook" or have a fancy specialty market.

I just needed to learn how to take what I already loved and swap out the "SAD" (Standard American Diet) ingredients for real, nurturing and nutrient-full foods.

On the way I lost 20lbs, became flexible, stronger, more confident, happier, grateful, more energetic... while still

enjoying the foods I love 🤩 luckyyyy!

That was the start of Intuitive Cooking 🍳

It isn't about memorizing 50-step recipes.

It’s about a mindset shift of 😃 I get to create and enjoy healthy food that makes me feel good!

If I can do it in the middle of the woods with limited options, you can do it too.

You don’t have to give up your favorites... You just have to make them work for you.
